I Dreamed of Rain - Proginoskes - 10-21-2011 My church choir is performing this song for an upcoming service. I honestly prefer the SATB + Piano arrangement by Larry Nickel, but I've linked to the best I could find on YouTube.I Dreamed of Rain by Jan Garrett Quote:I dreamed of rain, and the rains came, Power? Over Doug's entire Area of Effect, it rains. The rainwater has a variety of miraculous properties: it heals injured and sick animal life (which includes most sapient beings), it removes pollution from the air it falls through and the soil and water it flows into, and it promotes ludicrously fast plant growth. The cleansing and healing effects are permanent (in that the pollution or injury doesn't blink back into existence when the song ends), but note that the song doesn't do anything about sources of pollution, sickness, and injury. The song also imposes a cessation of violence for as long as it plays: explosives simply fail to work, firearms fail to fire, and other weapons (including fisticuffs) invariably inexplicably miss. - classicdrogn - 10-21-2011 Absolutely INVALUABLE in the Captain Planet step. Would probably also get Doug mad props on FF7 Midgard. Otherwise, another shot in the healing powers magazine is always good. - CD -- "Anko, what you do in your free time is your own choice. Use it wisely. And if you do not use it wisely, make sure you thoroughly enjoy whatever unwise thing you are doing." - HymnOfRagnorok as Orochimaru at SpaceBattles woot Med. Pairs up nicely with Sting's Desert Rose, which I have long envisioned as being useful in the "Amelia Peabody Emerson" installment of The Drunkard's Vacation. -- Bob --------- Then the horns kicked in... ...and my shoes began to squeak. |
