Sulphur Passage - Proginoskes - 07-20-2013 Sulphur Passage by Bob Bossin is about the Clayoquot Protests, specifically the human blockade of Sulphur Pass. Quote:Come you bold men of Clayoquot,Come you bold women. There is a fire burning on the mountain,The sting of smoke blown in the wind.Hear the blast of the whistle,Hear the snarl of the chain,Hear the cracking in the heartwood,Hear it again and again and again.Power: If Doug is part of a chain of people in physical contact with one another, he can project an impenetrable barrier equal to the chain in width and twice as high (or as high as his usual Area of Effect, whichever is less). This does allow him to create a barrier wider than his usual AoE, but only if he can assemble a chain of people that wide with no breaks. If somebody lets go, the barrier immediately shrinks. The effect also immediately and entirely ends if Doug moves from where he started the song. |
