After a fairly long time Strained Harmony by Sunshine Temple w/ assistance from Trimatter has updated. Ranma needs to go to ground for a while and ends up working as a maid/nanny to Hotaru of Sailor Moon.
It's been five years so I'm going to have to read the whole thing through again to refresh my memory, but I remember it as being very good. Also, there is a note on the author page saying that the chapter after this is already written and he's been backfilling this chapter all this time.

Also, apparently Ranma is useless in a fight, because he lacks any attack magic, and can only contribute with the healing magic until his attack magic shows up. He tried to kick a monster made of shadows, instead of even trying ki attacks for some reason.
Add that to the amount of time spent on how Ranma's body is becoming more curvy and softer, and describing his/her clothes, well, I hope that the next chapter, which was apparently written earlier, had more input from Trimatter. If the first two chapters are anything to judge by, he was able to balance out Sunshine Temple's tendency to warp Ranma, and cast his canon skills as irrelevant.
(Oh, and the setting has jumped forward in time apparently, as Nabiki now has a tablet computer.)
Sorry about the rant, it just seems as if this fic has started going off the rails, and it bugs me. I liked the first two chapters.

RE: Strained Harmony.
I'm re-reading and haven't gotten to the new chapter, but I did read an author's note saying that while the first two were a colaboration between Sunshine Temple and Trimatter, this one was pretty much written by Sunshine alone. This, plus changes in an author's approach to writing over five years, most likely account for the shift.

The bit that really caused me a mental glitch with Strained Harmony was that, after a long section dealing with the fact that Ranma and Akanes lifestyle had led to them developing rather heathy bodies (if not the shape they wanted), Nabiki dismisses the photos of Ranma as someone else on the grounds she's fat and wears glasses. Then again, this is one of the dumbest versions of the middle Tendo I've seen in quite a while.
