ETA: I have to admit I take some pride in having named Genre Blindness and the "Peggy Sue" genre of fanfiction. Oh, and the "Lots!" entry
in the middle of the list? Recently added by someone else with much the same reaction to reading that page.

Well, the burnout wasn't because of trope creation. It was because I was getting incredibly compulsive about correcting markup, spelling and grammar in other people's contributions, and getting all worked up over it.
