As it is, even at 24, I saw one in the store the other day that was moving and I gave it a wide berth. I've always had a sorta-phobia about robots and animatronics like that. Just give me a 10 dollar stuffed dinosaur, and I'd be happier with it than I would be with the 300 dollar taking and moving dino. - Foxboy - 11-29-2008 It's the uncanny valley principle. For example, I've seen both this and a similarly-successful robotic horse and the Horse creeped me out more, since my mother used to raise Morgans and I know what a horse is supposed to look like.
