Astroboy The Movie... - Bob Schroeck - 01-07-2009 ... is coming. -- Bob --------- Then the horns kicked in... ...and my shoes began to squeak. - Norgarth - 01-07-2009 Well, at least they aren't trying to turn it into a live-action movie. ___________________________ "I've always wanted to be somebody, but I should have been more specific." - George Carlin - Black Aeronaut - 01-07-2009 OUT. FLIPPING. STANDING. ^_^ - Rod.H - 01-08-2009 I was thinking 'bout posting an 'Oh Nick Cage No' when I saw the teaser link appear on the Apple movie trailer page. Until I watched it and saw that it's going to be 3d cgi. Might be okay if it's an dub of a japanese production. I'll wait and see. --Rod.H - robkelk - 01-09-2009 According to http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0375568/]the movie's imdb.com page, it's being made by the Hong Kong company Imagi Animation Studios. A lot of the names in the staff sound American/European to me... although they do credit Tezuma-san with the original story. -- Rob Kelk "Governments have no right to question the loyalty of those who oppose them. I might have said something sooner, but with icons like Astroboy here in Japan, it could have been some kind of one-off that's of no real consequence. It doesn't help much that I can't read Kanji. - Norgarth - 01-14-2009 On the topic of movies: http://www.lilformers.com...mers-131-the-master-plan/ ___________________________ "I've always wanted to be somebody, but I should have been more specific." - George Carlin |
