DVD Defect Question - Shepherd - 03-11-2009 I was wondering if someone could provide me with a bit of help. I recently purchased Season 3 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer on DVD and have run into an odd problem with the second and third discs (I haven't gotten any further yet). When I play these discs the DVD player makes an intermittent churning noise (some features run with no problems while others result in the loud and annoying 'rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr'). I've tested other DVDs and they work fine. Despite the occasional odd sound from the DVD player, the second disc also played fine while the third disc seems to occasionally jam and stall while trying to access some options. Is this a problem with the discs or with the DVD player (or are the discs somehow causing a problem with the DVD player)? ---------------------------------------------------- "Anyone can be a winner if their definition of victory is flexible enough." - The DM of the Rings XXXV - Wiregeek - 03-11-2009 sounds like unbalanced DVDs clean them, if they persist, return them.
