Looks interesting, although $3000 (after taxes and shipping) is a bit out of my current price range... And, of course, it's not likely to work with all the 3D-modeling stuff I have (on account of those models being not completely bounded).
But, hey - once you've finished modeling something, you can print it at a decent resolution now! (For definitions of "now" that include "first quarter 2013".)
