Maybe a theme for a villain who gets redeemed? I don't know, but it's good.

I would say And So It Went would also fit with end-S1 Sailor Moon, but with Doug's influence the senshi aren't falling so much into "How can mere children be causing so much trouble!?" territory. Still, "The world does not belong to you/you are not the queen, I am not the fool/the world does not belong to you... it belongs to me" does have some resonance with princess/future queen serious-mode Usagi.

Bob's already said that he isn't sticking to canon for much longer... but if he was, this could have been background music for the later stage of the Nephrite/Naru relationship.

Woah. Good songs, both of them. I'm going to have to get them for my MP3 collection. And yeah, Rob's right that "Only Love Can Save Me Now" would slot right in for the Naru-Nephrite plotline.

The Pretty Reckless are pretty good. In a weird bit of coincidence, the lead singer, Taylor Momsen, played Cindy Lou Who in the Ron Howard/Jim Carrey version of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." Has absolutely no bearing on their music, but it's just a weird bit of Hollyweird.
