There's a comment on My Apartment Manager is not an Isekai Character's list of source works that the Ranma ½ anime goes through 1992 twice. Which makes a certain amount of sense as background for all those fuku fics, if Sailor Moon forgot to include Nerima when she did her big reset at the end of the Dark Kingdom arc.
