I thought I might as well say hello first. My hobbies are reading, writing (and arithmetic too!), FFXIV, hockey, and being the pet-parent to my Yorkie (or is she my pet-parent?) Oooh! The forums are snowing! 
Hello Annie-nee, and welcome!
We do a lot of talking about reading and writing here. A few of us even write.  Don't be afraid to jump into a thread, or start a new one. It takes a lot to get any of us to start yelling at someone, and we... well, at least I... give newcomers some slack. The forum's two rules are "Have fun, and play nice", after all.

Rob's already told you the important parts, so I'll just welcome you (again!) to the forums, Annie-nee. As for the snow, it gets turned off for the year by tomorrow Eastern time, as I only have it on from December through Epiphany. So you joined just in time to see the last of it.
For those who might be interested, Annie-nee let me know that she found the forums by way of investigating some characters on Gelbooru, which led her to Drunkard's Walk and My Apartment Manager Is Not an Isekai Character.

Hello, and welcome!
I had a yorkie (small even for them at 4lb, about the size of a small adult cat) but she died in... 2018 or 19(?) Relatively young for the breed at 15, but she'd always had health issues from being a runt. Sweet little thing, not yappy at all except to say hello when someone came to the house. I miss her lots, so give yours an extra hug for me.
