Ahoy to Bob and all.

Old fart with far too many hobbies/ interests to name.  Currently working my way through 20+ webnovels Chinese Xianxia/ Manga/ Manwha/ ect.  

I'm part of 4-5 different fan translation groups, mostly doing proofing and lettering.

Some of you have know/ known of me for decades.

For everyone else, Lil Wiz is one of my oldest friends. We met when I was... eight, I think it was, and he was seven. We've drifted in and out of each other's "best friend" position a few times over the decades. I dated his sister in high school. He was at our wedding. Over the years he's found a place with every group of friends I've made, from high school to Princeton and beyond. He lives in the Philippines now, so we haven't been in touch as much recently.

Didn't know you were doing the fan translation thing, cool.

Can I use your real name? Because I'll tell you, stopping myself to deliberately type "Lil Wiz" instead of it is weird.

Sure, I don't care.  I tried to change my user name but couldn't figure it out.

UPDATE:  RLN:  JD (John)  Gold, but I've been going by JD since the 90's, so...

I suspect, without checking the board docs, that it's not possible for a user to change their name. But it is possible for me, if not through the admin control panel, then by hacking the MySQL tables behind the board. Let me know what you want it to be, if it wasn't "JD Gold".

EDIT: Confirmed, I can change your username in the admin CP.
