* Ratgirl Even before the biomod (see below), Nezumi was a scavenger and survivor. She has a keen sense of how to move through a crowd without being noticed, but can also be threatening if she needs someone to back down. In close combat, she is a vicious, dangerous fighter.
* Genius Nezumi is very smart, even if she doesnt act that way sometimes. She reads voraciously and understands a large number of topics. Blackstone often uses her as his sounding board.
Handwavium Attributes:
* Transgender Nezumi was already undergoing hormone treatment for gender therapy when Blackstone acquired the bus and began construction on World Watch One. Extended contact during preparation of the bus, plus a small dollop that she purposefully ingested completed the job. Nezumi lost about three inches of height due to the redistribution of mass, and is undoubtedly female. Blackstone is unaware that she actually ate any of the handwavium, but he would not be surprised.
* System Scour In addition to the more visible effects of the handwavium, Nezumis body has been purged of long-term damage. In particular, her system has been cleansed of the damage from a regular smoking habit (although not the psychological addiction), as well as several extensive burn scars and other blemishes.
* Ratgirl Nezumi is a sneaky bitch. She is preternaturally quiet and excels at sudden ambushes. She can eat almost anything without getting ill, and her sense of smell has improved to the point that she can identify people by their smell at close range (less than 10 feet). Physically, she is not an actual anthromorph, but she has several rodentine, the most notable being enlarged ears and incisor teeth and longer, stronger finger and toenails.
Quirks:
*Ratgirl Nezumis behavior is markedly rodentine, from the nest of blankets and assorted clothing that covers her bunk to her tendency to gnaw on things. She dislikes bright light and suffers from mild agoraphobia (she stays near walls and doors in large rooms). She can also fall into a berserk frenzy if cornered by threatening strangers.

When shes interested, she keeps at things, but she often just wants to sleep in and surf the net. She and the rest of the crew have compromised, allowing her some lazy time, while keeping her in line with Buckaroos teachings.
*Monkey on her Back Due to the System Scour, Nezumi is no longer physically addicted to nicotine. However, she still has psychological cravings. The other BBIs dont let her smoke on the bus, which makes for a cranky ratgirl. She grabs a cigarette when she can (which isnt often, given many fenspace structures and vehicles), and craves them especially under pressure.

*What the Hell Are You Doing Here? - Chaos is something of an enigma among the fen. He doesn't appear particularly unusual, and almost gives the impression that he's along for the ride and not really fen. This mundane manner makes him easily overlooked among fen, unless he's in the middle of a overtly odd group, where he stands out. He blends in among mundanes easily, making him useful in acquiring information on the sly.
*Chaos Is Our Mode and Modem... Chaos has made it his personal study to figure out most number of ways of causing chaos. Since the creation of the Institute, he has become a licensed demolitionist, a hacker and electronics intrusion expert, a locksmith, a pickpocket, and a social engineer. He prefers to use his knowledge and skills surgically, but if need be, he can reduce a city governments infrastructure to full-blown riot conditions in approximately four hours, given ten people with cell phones, a laptop, and a minivan. Or so he claims.
Quirks:
*Always Gotta Look Out for the Quiet Ones - Chaos is, in a word, taciturn. He doesnt say much in public discussion, preferring the other BBIs to do the talking. However, if he gets frustrated or angry, he can often spin off into a rant of epic proportions that might even be impressive enough to stop Haruhi in her tracks. Buckaroo has taken to recording these rants and posting them as an occasional column on the Banzai Institute internal website.
*Why? Being the most mundane of the crew of the WW1, Chaos often questions the assumptions that other fen make about society. Where Blackstone often tries to play devils advocate, Chaos just questions everything, demanding an explanation other than thats how its done.
*Skinny Ass White Boy Chaos has a normally high metabolism, with little in the way of excess muscle weight. He doesnt do well in a straight-up fight, not having the strength or staying power for it. He compensates by fighting dirty and letting Blackstone and J. do most of the frontline fighting.

He has been training in kung fu for many years, almost the entirety of the current millennium, and outclasses many of the fen in non-waved ability. His weapons of choice are the kwan dao, the staff, and his bare hands. He carries a small set of throwing stars in his coat. Despite his bulk and size, he can be very quiet.
*Rockstar - J. has been playing guitar and writing songs since high school. Prior to joining the crew of World Watch One, he was in several bands, and several of his songs have been recorded. He has contacts in the music industry, and knows a great deal about the history of popular music.
*Firefighter - J. is a trained Emergency Medical Technician and Firefighter. He is skilled in first aid, rescue operations, CPR, and other skills associated with the profession. He is training to be an arson investigator, something to which Chaos abilities as a demolitionist and pyrotechnician have contributed.
Quirks:
*Sweep the knee - When he was younger, J. suffered an accident that left his knees and his right ankle badly injured. He has undergone detailed surgery on all three, allowing him to walk, and regular exercise has improved them greatly over the years. The joints are still weaker than they were. He walks without a limp, provided he has not overextended himself, so the injuries are not obvious. However, should someone successfully connect with a solid shot to either of his knees, it is likely that they could do permanent damage. However, J. is not stupid about this, and has focused much of his own fighting abilities on protecting those vulnerable points. He also wears knee braces, waved for durability, underneath his pants.
*I need tacos; I need them or Ill explode. That happens to me sometimes - J. is addicted to fast food, in particular cheap Tex-Mex. His willpower has overcome his smoking habit, and he has a regular exercise and practice schedule for both kung fu and music, but he has yet to truly slim down because of his love for cheap, greasy food. He whines about it on occasion, something that other Blue Blazers (including Radical, his fianc) mock him about.
*Big mouth J. is good at what he does, and he knows it. He has a tendency to mouth off at people who piss him off, and this can get him in trouble. Fortunately, he has the ability to hold his own in a fight. Unfortunately, he doesnt always take the time to size up an opponent before leading with his chin.
