First, because of the "southern" docking bay, which you established as being big enough to hold a "Space Ship" class vessel.

Continuing the "just in case", I've just spent a half-hour going through the back stacks and saving anything that looks like a story, except for the Convention Thread and the original thread. (They're too big for just-before-bedtime; I wouldn't want to goof and miss a page or five...)

Hm. I've harvested 37 stories for archiving. Most of mine overlap yours, but I see a couple I missed in your list. I'll have to do a dump of the directory and compare it to see where we differ. Tomorrow. I need sleep now.
ETA: Okay, let's see... The stories you have that I don't: First Flight Adventures in Space That's not a shuttlecraft, it's a bulldozer! Stories I have that you don't: A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To the Shipyard A little vignette Beware the Hell-Hole in Space Corners Well, Poor Acceleration Foolishly Cool Game of Kings Interview With a Zwilnik Let's Try This Tell Your Children When We Don't Need That Hammer, Lucifer I don't have URLs, because I'm going from the directory listing as noted above. Also, I might have a broader definition of what constitutes a "story", since several of these are just little vignettes. -- Bob --------- The Internet Is For Norns. Quote:And I wrote that one... Okay, must grab these other stories this evening. -Rob Kelk -- Rob Kelk "Governments have no right to question the loyalty of those who oppose them. I think that I have the single largest section of the Writers' Guide organized - the Ship Registry should be ready to go, assuming I got the data correct. Please take a look at the zipped RTF file here and let me know whether I goofed again. (No, this isn't what the final formatting will look like. That comes later.)
There are a few question marks in some of the ship descriptions; sometimes this doesn't matter, but things such as Maximum Speed and Launch Date need to be filled in for story purposes. ("Was ship X around on day Y, and can my protagonist's ship outrace it?") Oh, yes; let me make one thing perfectly clear: If the Calling Port approaches within 1000km of the Stellvia, the station will open fire. With kaboomite warheads. Noah values his station's and clients' safety more than he's worried about breaking the law. Life and work got busy, and now I need to get back to my side of this project. Argh.
-- Bob --------- The Internet Is For Norns.
No rush - I just spent the last hour pulling back anything that looked remotely interesting from the Fenspace board. I've got plenty to keep me busy during the random otherwise-unproductive minutes of the next few weeks...
