An Accolade is obtained by earning two Day Job badges that work in conjunction with one another. In other words, earning multiple badges unlock Accolades.
These Accolades will grant an even more enhanced set of powers and benefits. Additional 'charges' can also be earned for your Day Job Accolade powers
by logging off from either of the areas associated with the two badges that unlocked the Accolade. Below is a list of some, but not all, of the Day Job

You can see if you are at a valid Day Job Location by checking to see if you have a little yellow power/buff icon that looks something like a chest. It will
only show up if you have it set to show auto-powers, however, so you can either change that in the General tab of Options or right click on one of the icons
and make sure to have the hide/show autopowers selected appropriately. The icon will tell you what day job you are contributing to as its name, and it will
also tell you what rewards it gives.
You can also see all the Day Job badges you have made progress to in the Day Jobs section of your badge window.

Okay, the hero list is missing the "patroller" job/badge. But beyond that, there're at least one more Hero job and one Hero accolade missing from
there -- the Vanguard base in the RWZ is a job site, and contributes to an accolade with the patroller. I know about that one because I'm working on it for
Evangelia.

The Patroller Badge is the one you get for gaining 30 bars of Patrol XP or spending equivalent time offline if the character in question is level 50.

Vyperpunk's list is copied from the CoH website, which does NOT list every Day Job out there - they wanted to leave some to player discovery, I guess. The
wiki has a much more comprehensive list.

Yes it does, now that I can actually look at it. As it turns out, one of my toons already has one of the Accolades -- Rapid Response Member. That surprised me
when it popped up a couple nights ago.
Anyway, thanks for the wiki link, it's just what I want.

There's also at least one location in the game where you can earn credit towards two badges at once - the Ferry Dock in Grandville.
It doesn't seem to be possible around some other obvious candidates, like the medical bay in the Vanguard base...that doesn't work, you're either
earning the RWZ day job or the medical one, depending on exactly where you're standin'.
But I wonder if there are others.

Standing next to the base portal in RWZ earns both Monitor Duty and Vanguard Recruit credit, which is why going into a base with Inyme from the RWZ and logging
off in the base meant I came back to her having both badges. :lol
