No, this isn't a political protest - it's a note that the first four episodes of the classic sports anime Yawara! are now available on DVD for free.
That's "free as in beer", not "free as in software" - AnimEigo keeps the licence rights, but you get the disc at no charge. (Assuming you buy something else directly from Animeigo, that is - if you want just the Yawara! disc, you have to pay $5 shipping and handling.) And it looks like the usual AnimEigo "North America only" deal.
