A pun on Nanoha
A pun on Nanoha
#1
Quote from Wiki
Another nickname that Nanoha is called by fans is actually a pun on the title "Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha" (???????????, Maho Shojo Ririkaru Nanoha?). While "Maho Shojo" (????) means "Magical Girl", "Ma Ho Shojo" (????) can be interpreted as "Demonic Cannon Girl".
Wouldn't that describe Hotaru from Sailor Moon also?

Well, one major difference there is that Nanoha's magical instrument of beamspam actually is, basically, an assault rifle.

An assault rifle made to plink very big things. Why the hell does 'Hellbore' come to mind all the sudden.

She's a Japanese grade-schooler wielding Magic of Mass Destruction.

He's a multi-hundred-tonne self-aware AI tank equipped with weapons firepower is measured in megatons/sec.

Together, they fight chrome.

...wait, wasn't that supposed to be "crime"?

Y'know, that'd put an entirely different spin on Raging Heart's personality, wouldn't it?

The best part is that it really does seem to fit well with her known personality traits. ^_^

Befriending through superior firepower! Didn't Vita call her a demon during A's?

Well, I was talking about Raging Heart's personality, from what we see of it. But yeah, Vita did call Nanoha a demon at least once.

Nanoha being called a demon? Great. Now I got mental imagery of Nanoha in white-and-blue MJOLNIR Armor from Halo.

Y'know, you have to wonder if that would reconcile people to the Master Chief picking up a kid sidekick.

'What the hell does this ultimate badass need a whiny little brat for?!'

BOOM.

'Fire support.'

Okay, okay.... Cortana is the Bolo, Master Chief is himself, Nanoha and Fate are the two tagalongs/fire support (you honestly think you can seperate those two
little darlings?) and Yuno and Howl are the cute animal mascots.

Now, of course, all things being equal, this would naturally be a dimension jumper. John-117 and Cortana got tangled up in the Bolo-verse and are
recruited rescued by the TSAB. They get called in on the whole Jewel Seed mess because are you honestly going to send anything less than a
Midchildan-enhanced Bolo controled by Cortana and the inimitable Master Chief with no particular special ability (unless you count mondo ass-whooping) save for
an extremely high degree of incredibly good luck. (High enough that it's got the Midchildan mages scratching their heads, so thye use him as an ace in the
hole until they figure him out).

Potential coolness with Cortana interfacing with Ragin Heart and other IDs?

Taking the objection in a completely different direction, I picture Nanoha as the poster girl for Malakim of Flowers...
