Passing of Grandmother
Passing of Grandmother
#1
On a serious note, my 101 year-old grandmother passed away this morning.
She had suffered from several strokes and had been deteriorating since her 99th birthday.  So, her passing is neither unexpected nor a tradgey.  She's at peace and that's what's important.  I may or may not be around for the next few days, but I will try to show up, if just to be silly since humor and laughter are two of the most important things in life as far as I'm concerned.

My deepest condolences. I know what it's like to lose somebody close after a long illness, so if you want to cry or rant or crack jokes, feel free.

Add my voice to the sympathetic throng.

I have been were you have been... and yes, it many ways it was a relief, you will still need to grieve for her.

Laughter helps though. In this process alone laughter helps as much as anything else does.
