I've got nothing directly applicable, but maybe you could fill the missing verse with something about dealing with an angry caller/client who doesn't understand enough to ask the right question let alone comprehend the answer?

That could work... What do folks think of this?
There's a man whose sanity's in danger,
The calls he has to take keep getting stranger,
The things those people say
Get dumber day by day,
Odds are you'll be mad before tomorrow.
Helpdesk Agent Man,
Helpdesk Agent Man,
They've given you a flowchart
And taken away your brain.
In a windowless office on one day,
And back to that same office on the next day,
You let your self-worth slip
Hearing the bosses' quips,
Odds are you'll be mad before tomorrow.
Helpdesk Agent Man,
Helpdesk Agent Man,
They've given you a flowchart
And taken away your brain.

Works well enough I think - it's certainly easier to fit to the music in my head than the other verse, though I got that one after a few tries. Breaking up "windowless" the right way kept tripping me up.
