Another Sign that 2012 is the End Times: Puerto Rico

What this is all about
Amidst the election coverage something was lost:
Puerto Rico passed a referendum to request statehood in the United States.

Even though statehood won the referendum the party than won the election has announced that they will do absolutely nothing with it, since they support the status quo.

And even statehood supporters are aghast that their option won the referendum and yet they lost the election.

Living in this island is seven kinds of crazy sometimes.
