Sometimes lightning just strikes...

...and two unrelated concepts from completely different Steps suddenly pop into view holding hands, and I go "wow, I can do something with that".
I had one of those moments on my drive home from work tonight.
Rei Ayanami, meet Horcruxes. Horcruxes, meet Rei Ayanami.-- Bob

... And now I shall go bleach this disturbing thought out of my brain.
-W"Ah, great. More androids." "We're not androids, we're the Knight Sabers!" "Huh. Frederick's of Hollywood has a line of power armor out. Who knew?"Falling out of aeroplanes and hiding out in holes
Waiting for the sunset to come, people going home
Jump out from behind them and shoot them in the head
Now everybody dancing the dance of the dead

My first thought: ...Well. That's new.
My second thought: Why would he [Voldemort] need Death Eaters?
My third thought: Deadly Ninja Strike Force! Appearing to be everywhere! ('Cause they ARE.)
My fourth thought: 'They looked at Rei. Rei looked back. Harry turned to his companions with a weak and sickly looking smile.
"Well at least we don't have to worry who gets to partner her, right?"
Rei seemed to smile.
From where she surounded them.'
My fifth thought: Behind a locked door in the Department of Mysteries is a power both great and terrible.
Run for your lives folks, or you'll be up to your armpits in Harry Potters!
And I better stop now before the crowd with the torches and pitchforks arrive.

I'll just say you're not quite on the same track I am here. But don't worry about it.-- Bob

....or for Gendo.
Just as a backup, y'know, in case the Instrumentality Project goes belly-up.
