Okay, it's official, I'm out.

This should come to the surprise of no one, but...

In September, I allowed my last 6-month renewal to kick in, under the assumption that if I wasn't playing the game again by January, I was done.

And that's true. I'm done.

It was fun. I've been subscribed for more than 60 months, and played for at least 40 of them. Best MMO experience I've ever had. But I'm kind of
int he place where I just can't devote that kind of effort to a single experience that never changes. There's just nothing to keep me interested, with
all sorts of other shiny/new games kicking around, not to mention my new PS3 and the Steam Holiday sale that abused the heck out of my wallet.

Whew. You had me worried for a bit, because Fox's MOTD had me worried was it just the game or had something pushed you to attempt to /ragequit from real

Sad to see you go - both of you. Burn out or real-life concerns happen. And it -is- after all only a game.

I must admit to some burn out of my own at the moment. It's why I haven't been around quite as much of late. But it's not a "leaving the
game" moment. I think I'll explain that in a separate post.
