I found a reference to this in IST, but only that it was founded in 1985 and went bankrupt in 1987.

Science, Technology and Applied Research. Its founder, Amos Tolnin, later signed up with Supertemps under the codename "Skylord" (Supertemps, pp.54-55), at the urging of former STAR scientist Vincent "Nucleus" Kyriakedos (op.cit., pp.44-45).

EDIT: At any size, Vincent Kyriakedos is only one scientist. Clealy, sir, should not tag posts before having breakfast.

Okay, didn't look at Supertemps, Thanks.

I loved those two characters, they were the Burt and Ernie (or Felix and Oscar or Booster Gold and Blue Beetle) of one of my one-shot IST campaigns.
