I'm A Boy - The Who
I'm A Boy - The Who
#1
I happened to both recently buy a copy of The Who The Ultimate Collection which has this song and run across an a Kyou Kara Maou AMV that uses this song. Which makes me wonder what everyone's favorite hero would do with this song.
I'm A Boy
(Pete Townsend)
One girl was called Jean Marie
Another little girl was Felicity
Another little girl was Sally Joy
The other was me and I'm a boy
My name is Bill, and I'm a head case
They practice making up on my face
Yeah, I feel lucky if I get trousers to wear
Spend evenings taking hairpins from my hair
(C1)
I'm a boy, I'm a boy
But my Ma won't admit it
I'm a boy, I'm a boy
But if I say I am I get it!
Put your frock on Jean Marie
Plait your hair Felicity
Paint your nails little Sally Joy
Put this wig on little boy
(repeat chorus 1)
I wanna play cricket on the green
Ride my bike across the street
Cut myself and see my blood
I wanna come home all covered in mud
I'm a boy, I'm a boy
But my Ma won't admit it
I'm a boy, I'm a boy, I'm a boy
I'm a boy, I'm a boy, I'm a boy, I'm a boy
I'm a boy, I'm a boy, I'm A Boy!

Some ideas:
- It could possibly allow disguising a male as a female (Too bad they're looking for Doug, since for the next two and a half minutes he's... Hmm... Is there a feminine version of the name Douglas?)
- A fight stopper. For two and a half minutes however much the people in the area might "wanna see my blood" they are overcome by the urge to "play house" like little kids.
"More tea Rachel?"
"Why yes thank you, a little sandwich Ami?"
"Certainly. Would you like a cookie Chris?"
"I wouldn't say no. More tea for you Ami?"
"Hey! No giving him cake to steal my tea you, you boyfriend stealer!"
Okay, so some fights might be harder to stop than others. Tongue

Heh, and today is officially declared a winning day.
Hmm, is there any official ruling yet on what Behind Blue Eyes or Happy Jack do?

Not yet. "Happy Jack" really hasn't been on my radar. "Behind Blue Eyes" I've mused on, on and off, over the years, but with no satisfactory results.

It may be a little too obvious a way to go since it was my first thought. But it seems like Behind Blue Eyes could be a song to use to get insight into a 'villain'. Nobody knows why, until Doug comes along and uses the song to get effectively a series of flashbacks of points in the persons life that caused them to take their current course of action. The downside being that the target knows what is happening (although if they their disbelief in magic or telepathy is strong enough they might not believe its actually happening), and is most likely quite ticked off at the invasion of their past.
