The funniest thing I've read today...
The funniest thing I've read today...

... is right here.
The following is the part that sent me into hysterics --
Quote:
Also, I feel I should mention that Dr. Frankenpalmer explains that while he'll be contributing to some of the major motor functions, Batman's mostly going to be operating purely on reflex. Which means that Batman's involuntary reaction to the world around him is to hunt down evil and beat the crap out of it.
And that is probably the most badass thing I have ever heard.

I have to say that beats, "I'm the goddamn Batman!" any day....
(For those of you unaware of the above quote, which is well on its way to becoming another Internet standard, Jim Lee and Frank Miller are doing a version of Batman that is way, way, way over the top in craziness. When a young Dick Grayson asks Batman, as they are careening through traffic to get away from the police and causing much property damage and havoc, why he thinks he has the right to do what he does, Batman responds with, "What, are you stupid? Are you retarded? I'm the goddamn Batman!"
Not how the Batman is supposed to be written, IMO. But then, I felt that Frank Miller lost his grip on the character back when he did Dark Knight Returns II.)Ebony the Black Dragon

Dear god, Logan... I actually owned that issue as a kid. Seeing those panels again was serious flashback time...
