Ken Hite's been busy writing weird stuff again... but this is weird even for Ken Hite.

http://e23.sjgames.com/item.html?id=HITE003]Adventures Into Darkness: roleplaying in H.P. Lovecraft's comic-book stories.

Yes, a superhero setting based on the premise "what if Lovecraft wrote comic books?" I said it was weird...

It's for Mutants & Masterminds - does anyone know how difficult it is to translate the game mechanics to other systems?

M&M is basically a fusion of D20 with Hero system. What would you want to translate it into?

Sucrose Octanitrate.
Proof positive that with sufficient motivation, you can make anything explode.

GURPS Supers, most likely. (And Bob might be interested in translating it to V&V, maybe.)

If it's more Hero than d20, those conversions should be reasonably easy...

I note that it doubles as a Nedor Comics guide -- that'd be the characters that Alan Moore used as the basis for Tom Strong, and then went back to in some
of Strong's later stories. Tom "Doc" Strange, the Black Terror, et cetera.

"How the hell did I do that?"
