		My English teacher in my freshman year of high school (1976-1977) was a Kent State grad who had been there.  I vividly remember the day she told the class about the event.

		*Shakes head sadly*  It's hard to believe our Nation was that badly messed back then.
Fortunately, it seems we have grown from that incident.  Anti-war protests are more organized and hardly ever devolve into situations that led up to that massacre, and riot control measures have not involved lethal weapons since then.
Really, I think it must have been a wake-up call.
