I mean, what's so horrifying about that particular take on Alice in Wonderland ? And Dracula was horrifying to begin with...

I'll go through this by the numbers.
#9: You honestly didn't expect that some mook in Japan would see this and get it completely wrong?

#8: That's only horrifying if you've dropped LSD prior to reading. Personally, I think the look suits them.

 #7: Dude. It's a porn. Rule 34 applies.

 #6: Really? No, REALLY?

#5: ... You're not helping your case any here.

#4: Again, this is most likely a parody.

#3: You might have a point with this one, but one 'attaboy'...

 #2: Apparently you've never read the 'Afghanis-tan' web-manga.

#1: Dude. What? Ain't nothing wrong with making it a little more accessible.

Bob Schroeck Wrote:...since when is Dracula "beloved" anyway? Dunno, but I'd make a case for Alucard making him more horrifying than before. Mostly by stripping out any *subtlety* in what a monster he was.

And yet he's superior to the antagonists in that series. This says something.

Of course. Simply slaughtering and feasting upon humans is so passe. It is so much more fun to play at being their lap dog, especially when the one holding the leash is as fun to match wits with as Lady Integra. Besides, he gets all the fresh blood he wants and they find such fun people for him to play with, like Judas Priest. The fact that he has been allowed to sire a new vampire through Seras Victoria is just icing on the cake.

Personally, I'm surprised that they didn't include the Read or Die OAV version of Dubya in that list, who pisses his pants at the drop of a hat. Of course, he may or may not  be considered "beloved" either, but some people like him.
But, you expect something serious/accurate from "Cracked"? Where have you been for the past 30 years?

Hence the misquoting of The Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy used as the subject line.

Well, he was playing a game of supernatural Mah Jong vs a Pope Benedict who can fly and reenact the Creation symbolically with game tiles.
Koizumi hasn't even played against the Evil Space Nazis from the Moon in at least a volume, and he's supposed to be the best player in the place.
(At no point is The Legend Of Koizumi not played for laughs.  At anyone and everyone's expense.  Except Koizumi.  Koizumi is ALWAYS amazing, even when intercepting nuclear missiles with an F-15.)
