Another Kickstarter Project...

...that might be of interest: Space Command, a series of SF films visually based on the classic space artwork of the 1950s and 1960s, but with a modern sense of story telling. The people involved in the project are a who's-who of fantasy and sf TV over the past 15 years, both on the production side and in the cast. It looks like it might be worth a few bucks:

No, the Kickstarter has been running for a month already.  They did hit the goal in three days which is the fastest a film was funded on Kickstarter.

Just a bit of an update:

For anyone who hasn't donated, they are doing a thing for the Fourth of July. Until midnight P.S.T., a donation of $17 nets you the $27 reward level rewards. Going by the comments, they are planning on giving something extra to those that already donated $27, which is nice (and keeps them from loosing nearly $10,000 as there are nearly a thousand people at the $27 level.)
