they have unfortunately deemed it cruel and unusual punishment to televise for pay per view the state executions. Also most tv execs feel there is not enough blood from it i'm sure

Instead, we have professional boxing and MMA tournaments. Plenty of blood there, and even a fatality now and then if you're lucky. :p
