Anime figures

I've managed to get my finances under control from last holiday season and top off my retirement plan for the tax year, and still have some cash in the luxury budget. (Yay!) So, I decided to see what I might want to get from Hobby Link Japan.

I found two that I ended up ordering: http://www.hlj.com/product/HAP80412 and http://www.hlj.com/product/YMT33929. (Yay!)

(Edit: Shima is now listed as "discontinued" - I hope that means I got the last one, not that they can't get one for me...)

I found three others that I want to buy, but they aren't being made any more. (sigh)

• There's a pretty figure of http://www.hlj.com/product/YUJ91864 out there... (sigh)
  
• I've wanted a figure of http://www.hlj.com/product/YUJ92375 for a while - it's the only one of her that isn't available. (Aargh!)
  
• The Fenspace crowd will know why it really hurts that this figure of http://www.hlj.com/product/MAX04014 is the same scale as my figure of Kohran Li... (Aarrrgh!!!)
  

(If anybody happens to see any of these available elsewhere, please let me know...)

Re-Edit: A friend found me a Yayoi figure! (Yay!!!) Now I have to wait for the eBay seller to send me an invoice including shipping...

And there's one that I was tempted to buy, but didn't: http://www.hlj.com/product/WAVNF-51 (WTF?)

I don't have too many of the PVC 1/8 (or whatever scale they happen to be) figures. I usually don't have the money to buy them. I do however have
Nanoha and Yomiko, while I bought my fiance Fate

I'm really considering getting Reinforce Zwei because its 1:1 scale!

Well, if you're looking for 1:1 figures, a resin kit of http://www.hlj.com/product/DAK010]Combat-san (from http://www.animesuki.com/series.php/505.html]Hoi Hoi-san) is still available. Hoi Hoi-san isn't, alas...

The bookstore that used to be at Mitsuwa iin Edgewater used to have Christmas Rei and Asuka. I always meant to buy those, because they were so cute, but I never got around to it, and then they remodelled and a different store took its place... ah well.

I've never bought figures before, though I've come close several times. For example, I'm a big fan of Etrian Odyssey and, because of that, my self
control is being tested by one of the female Ronins.

the manga.
