Gold Digger comics
Gold Digger comics
#1
I was just checking out the Antarctic Press website (www.antarctic-press.com/html/version_01/index.php) looking to see if any series I'm following came out this week when I noticed the newest news item. They're apparently looking for preorders for the Gold Digger Gold Brick V (a massive compilation of issues). If anyone doesn't collect the individual issues but is interested in compilations, you may want to enter your preorder (I got the 'print error' versions of the Gold Brick I and II a few year back so that I could read all of the early adventures without spending hundreds of dollars).

Is this a DVD or dead tree compilation? I picked up the last DVD collection and I'm eagerly awaiting the next release.

I have the first two 'Gold Bricks' and the second 'Ninja High School Textbook' in dead-tree. Still looking for Textbook #1. And later volumes at decent prices... Wink

Dead tree. They're desperate to get enough pre-orders to justify the print run. If you order and they get enough to go to print, they'll throw in a page of original published artwork and a copy of the Sherlock Ninja comic book for free. If they don't get enough, they'll refund your money at the end of February.

link All the B&W comics, plus the color comics up to 100.
on top of that there is a bunch of other stuff: mini series, special episodes, and 2 short movies (totaling 19 minutes).
Totally worth the $50

And since I'm unable to find it on the site: what does Gold Brick V5 cover?
ETA: nevermind, I found the other gold bricks on the site, so 5 is color episodes 51-75?
Looks like I'll be waiting for gold brick 7

Pre-ordered it here, mostly because the GBs are always awesome, even if I have the comics in question. And the DVD collections. *cough*

....and I've been subscribed since...ever.

...yeah, so maybe I have a problem.

Is the NHS Text Book the collected works? If so, I'd like to try and track those down. Been wanting to read NHS since I got hooked on EPU, but you know how that is...

NHS Text Book is the equivalent of the Gold Brick, yes.
