Neo-retro coolness of the day

I present, for your consideration, the bizarre manifestation of never-out-of-date entertainment which is
First-Person Tetris.
Try it out. Boggle for a few moments. Be surprised at how intuitively playable it is, despite the essential change. See how far you can get.
Then try out Night Mode.
(Also, if anyone can put a definitive name to the source of the Type 3 music, I'd appreciate that. I
know I recognize it, but I don't quite know from where...)

May I be the first to say....."AAAAAAAAARRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!" yes I did boggle, then after the first in a line of missed timed moves the argh! began.
Still, pretty nifty and just imagine it on a Wii.

I tried night mode at first, and I found it much harder to manage than standard.
With the nice happy frame of reference my mind can compensate for the shifting directions.
The thing that got me, was that I kept trying to press up to rotate, and space to drop. There are times when muscle memories are not your friends.
Aside from that, it was a fun game distraction for a few minutes.

Oddly enough, neither I nor my brothers to whom I have introduced this seem to have had the slightest trouble with that - possibly because we never really played Tetris via keyboard before; I think we learned it on the NES.
My only problems come from a more limited abillity to judge accurately what position the block will be in after it gets flipped, and the lack of ability to rotate in both directions instead of just in the one.

I'm not surprised that it did; I'm surprised it didn't affect me the same way.
