Oh yes, very much so.
I love this game.
I've been describing it as..
"you wake up and all you have is jeans, a t-shirt, and some empty inventory slots.. so what do you do? PUNCH TREES. Punch trees apart to get logs which you can craft into planks which you can craft into sticks and into a crafting bench and you can use the sticks, planks, and a crafting bench to make a WOOD PICK and then you start mining or a WOOD SHOVEL and then you can dig dirt, but you'd best hurry, 'cause it's getting dark out.. and the monsters are coming!"
I'll snap some shots and run Cartographer against my Minecraft server tonight, I am so digging this game!
The last update fixed minecarts in multiplayer, and the 'boost glitch' is still live, so we made a power-boosted commuter rail system that runs from the spawn point to my Elven Tree Village, and to the Fallout Shelter. One of my roomates is busily constructing a wall around his island - its covered in lava, fire, and desolation, he wants to protect it so noone 'ruins it with those wussy trees or flowers'.
SO FUN.
