Just as we have done for the last few years, it's time for the grand haul listing.
Let's see... between Peggy and me, we got:
Assorted nice clothes
A Kindle
A 4-DVD set of uncut, restored classic Looney Tunes cartoons, with commentaries and other features
A snow blower
A rather large assortment of Omaha Steaks products
A basket of assorted food and beverages, designed for a picnic-like night in
Homemade pannetone, bacon and jelly

Haven't swapped gifts with the family yet (doing that on Tuesday), so my incomplete list is a copy of Jyouji Hayashi's The Oroboros Wave, a copy of Harry Manx's Isle of Manx, $50, ... and the limited-edition Nanoha movie and an all-region DVD player to play it on.

Edit: It's Tuesday... Got: More money, and some Godiva dark hot-chocolate.

Gave: A calendar I created myself to my grandmother ( http://www.cafepress.ca/rkelk]buy yours here ), a proof silver coin to my father, a plush beaver keychain to my mother (she collects plush beavers), DVDs, books, or calendars to other folks (Epsilon got Megazone 23, Dragonflight got School Rumble).

And I completely forgot to send out Christmas Cards this year. (I got yours, Bob... and I got one from Skynight. Should drop him an email...)

Heh, so Rob did ya get the clear file offered as part of the first-pressing for the Nanoha movie, cos I got one with the copy of the regular ed. Boy the covers for both of them (& the clear file) scream bad photo shop, to me.

As for me dosh, a gift card, a big toberone bar and control of the new espresso machine - it's one of the type George Cluney has been sprucing. Anything else I've had to buy for my self - new watch, HDD/DVD DVR, top gear T-shirts, Borderlands:GOTY....

Only really bought two presents for someone else: a gift box of Glenfarclas whiskey and a nerf ammo box.

Let's see... three decks of cards as stocking stuffers.

Collectible Wizard of Oz Pendulum Clock (now on the mantle... WHAT?! Smile

Complete, boxed vintage Coleco Electronic Quarterback to go in my video game collection.

Heroes and Villains Star Wars Mug.

A brownie kit with two shallow cast iron skillets that could likely be reapplied to things like fajitas.

One Kohl's gift card, likely going into replacing some of my work clothes.

And an early birthday gift, the DVD set of the fifth Doctor Who series.

Not too much "stuff" but plenty of "intangibles."

New winter coat. "Your existing, still functional coat is UGLY. Wink"

Mini electronic picture frame key chain.

Gift cards. "Argh! I don't know what to get you!"

Clear roads to get to family gathering.

Nobody was sick, so no five-days-later-incubating-bug.

etc etc.

The clear file and the CDJapan-exclusive 5×7 "photo" of Nanoha and Fate (which was printed on Kodak photo paper, and looks a lot better than the clear file), yes.

Intangibles are important, and often the best gift of all. (Definitely for the admin assistant at work, who this year got the news that her mother didn't have cancer. We all celebrated that one.)

My Loot:
* Ghost in the Shell DVD
* Last Exile DVD
* Project A-Ko: Love and Robots DVD.  Mwuah hah hah, my collection is almost complete!
* Deep fryer.  Who needs arteries?
* A metric butt-ton of chocolates, most of which I must give away.  You'd think family would remember the whole diabetes thing by now.
* New (used) leather jacket, with a overwhelming multitude of pockets.
* Scrabble Flash.  Not sure about this one, but I'll give it a whirl.
* Make Your Own Hot Sauce kit
* A working stereo for the car (this was me and my wife's present to ourselves)
(bah, hit submit too soon)
Dispensed:
* A heart attack (drove 7 hours to surprise Mom on Christmas morning.  She had no idea we were coming.)
* A Transformers Skystriker toy.  I'm probably misspelling that.
* A variety of Clint Eastwood movies on DVD for my Westernophile roommate
* Gift card for Dad, so he can find the perfect headset for his PS3 and I don't have to make another attempt and get the wrong one.
* A new cell phone/MP3 player/electronic distraction unit for the Small Fry.
* A HTC G2 smartphone for my wife.  In retrospect, shoulda given this one to myself.  WANT.
* Legos.
* A traditional homemade Christmas breakfast, complete with juice spilled on the countertop.  Oops.
* Various and sundry other items which I cannot remember in the post-holiday daze.  I know our trunk was full going over and empty coming back.
