On 8/2/11, the Aurora game store, Attactix, was closed by the Colorado department of revenue over unpaid taxes stemming from their acquisition of the miniatures company GFI.

That about sums it up for me. I used to go in there on a semi-regular basis, before I wound up across town and not in that area very often.

... wasn't Attactix the name of the Transformers & Star Wars plastic-minis-with-working-missiles game? Probably not related, but it makes me wonder a little, at least.
