The end of the Mayan calendar is a few days before the end of this year, so "not".

...and I have just come back from the absolute last family obligation of the holiday season.

We had a quiet evening here on my end. We didn't even really celebrate - just goes to show you how tired we are. Moving sucks. :p
Another quiet one here, as its a family tradition to gather at my mothers and watch various Gojira movies.
Would have liked an invite to a NYE party where there was a chance of finding a female who found me attractive in any sort of way, but that is just the lonely geek in me speaking. On the plus side, got news over the weekend that I should have a place of my own again in just over a week!  Hear that thunder rolling till it seems to split the sky? Good thing, as I'll be basically moving off my mom's couch into a place of my own again (something I'd not had since Louann and I split back in Mid Sept.)

I opened up the new year with a stomach flu. That I'd had since just after Christmas. Still, the roommate had some people over and I managed to be at least vaguely social and stay up 'til midnight. Happy new steer to everyone here!
