		Unknown Anime - Maps

I've got an old tape of an anime called Maps.
It's got spacecraft designed like art deco hood ornaments.
It's produced by KSS films in 1993.
Producers Takao Asaka and Rikio Yoshida.
And I can find NOTHING about it. The only evidence I've got that it ever was made is a VHS tape of it. Subtitled in French.

Oh, we had that on VHS, too. I remember we liked it quite a bit, way back in the 90s.

I likewise had — probably still have — it on VHS, English subs, two cassettes.  I remember it mostly because the male lead's girlfriend looked to me as if she'd been modeled after an Army officer I worked with at the time ... who wasn't at all Japanese....

If I'm remembering correctly, Maps had the massive starships with immense female figureheads, right? Practically full-body sculptures hundreds or thousands of feet tall?

Do recall I'm digging up a 20-year-old memory here.

Apologies; it wasn't my intent to sound chiding.

Maps adapted only like the first volume or so of a much longer comic. It went on for quite some time after the animated stuff ended. But I don't think the comic was ever translated.

Watched the entire the some time ago. Remember quite a bit of it. Was pretty decent, for something so short.
