Okay, who flies these?

Just got http://www.daz3d.com/shop/starship-stingray]this as a freebie model (free to Platinum Club members this week) for Daz Studio:

It's a one-seater.

Since I've got it, I may as well use it... Who in Fenspace flies it? What is it called? Does it already have a description somewhere on the FenWiki?

My first instinct says Roughriders.

I can't see GSS using it. Maybe Stellvia... or USAF/USN...

Well it's too ugly to be a Firefox or a Firestorm, so it can't be Soviet.

Personally, I see it as a trainer for Galactic Republic fighter jocks. Learn the basics of flying a fighter, then specialize to either fly X-Wings or Y-Wings.

StellviaCorp tends to buy other people's designs (EB-class notwithstanding) USAF is a definite good-possibility.

Hmmmmm... Although we could put those two ideas together and say this is the Mark I Astroball ship...

I thought you liked flying-wing designs. (We can re-paint the silly thing, after all.)

I like that.

It shouts, 'Space Nazi!' Are there any HYDRA fans in Fenspace? They'd fly something like that. I'd play Baron Strucker but I am already playing a scarred super villain.

I... could see Hydra or AIM as a sub-group of the Boskones, where most of their mads are concentrated.

Are all villains lumped into Boskonian territory? Is there no room for happy villainy?

Depends on if you want to have really evil people or just people having fun "playing" the bad guys.

The former ones are called "Boskonian" by the Fen, the later one could be part of the Supers ("Superheros are boring without a few good Supervillains") or other factions.

There's also Don Anthony Esposito, the biggest mob boss in Fenspace and definitely not a Boskonian.

True, but Big Tony isn't 'playing bad guy', he's Just A Businessman. Smile He's an active benefactor to the community, not a pretend malefactor.

There's also http://www.fenspace.net/index.php5?title=Space_Pirates]the Space Pirates, who are very different from the Boskonians.
