Traditional Lyrics Provided By ZoneLyrics.net

If it hadn't been for cotton-eye joe

I'd been married long time ago

Where did you come from. where did you go?

Where did you come from cotton-eye joe?

(repeat)

He came to town like a midwinter storm

He rode through the fields so

Handsome and strong

His eyes was his tools and his smile was his gun

But all he had come for was having some fun

(repeat intro)

He brought disaster wherever he went

The hearts of the girls was to hell broken sent

They all ran away so nobody would know

And left only men cause of cotton-eye joe

(repeat intro)

Given the references to bringing disaster, sending girls' hearts to hell, and girls running away, Doug may be wary of attempting to use this song.

What Doug really needs is a precognition song that he can use before playing new potential power songs so as to get an idea as to whether the song may have
some sort of horrific side effect.

Just noting that this is the second time this song has been suggested... see the other thread which should at least immediately after this posting be adjacent
in the forum.

As for Doug figuring a song effect ahead of time, well, he already has something like that -- I took it as Doug's first level training in V&V -- as a
result he has a "good instinct" for what songs will give him powers, and what they might be.
