From the "In Which I Watch Sailor Moon" thread over on rpg.net, http://forum.rpg.net/showpost.php?p=109 ... tcount=490]What If Shirow wrote Sailor Moon?

A video game where you colonize other planets before your rivals by covertly stabbing them before they launch ships: Light of Altaïr.

They are magical lands surrounded by mist where the ruler has a strange connection to the land.
Landover/Raveloft.
Someone on another forum referred to the current President as "The Big O". My initial thought:
"Can we pilot a giant robot? Yes We Can." -- Rob Kelk "Governments have no right to question the loyalty of those who oppose them. Really? My reaction was something along the lines of "That's the biggest Teleprompter ever..."
Right or left, though, it would actually be a fairly funny crossover. Maybe, one which should be. My Unitarian Jihad Name is: Brother Atom Bomb of Courteous Debate. Get yours. I've been writing a bit.
I think linking Big O and King Nothing would be far, far too easy... I mean just having him elected leader based on the not being a member of the previous
administration... which was made of mean and elemental naughtiness... therefore he should be in charge for the virtue of not being involved. No one can disprove him based on the past and they literally have no reason not to elect him... I mean he is soooo 'articulate'. I mean as no one has any memories of this naughty, malignant guy... but this guy must, by default, be better than him. That the previous administration didn't ever exist is of no concern. Of course his sidekick would have to be the replacement pontificating, lumberjack son robot... Seriously, it would be far too easy to set up each chapter as seen through the eyes of a different political philosophy and every time he uses Big T, he would have to destroy some random bridge as collateral damage. Yeah, far to easy... though it makes more sense as a fusiony thing rather than a real crossover.
Disturbing appropriate:

This Crossover Is Big Trouble!
Lo Pan III In which Lo Pan and his Three Storms - Goemon Thunder, Lightning Jigen, and Fujiko Rain - are chased but never caught by Jack Zenigata. -- Rob Kelk "Governments have no right to question the loyalty of those who oppose them. That clearly should be Fujiko Taiga.
E: "Did they... did they just endorse the combination of the JSDF and US Army by showing them as two lesbian lolicons moving in together and holding hands and talking about how 'intimate' they were?" B: "Have you forgotten so soon? They're phasing out Don't Ask, Don't Tell."
But then we'd need a fourth Storm...

This one might be a Should Be, but The World Ends With You/Kingdom Hearts. They are from the same people, which makes it almost too easy, especially if you
can find a way to tie together Heartless and Noise. For extra Freaky Points, consider a TWEWY/Gatekeepers crossover, where the point of commonality is that the Invaders are a type of Noise, and some Reaper is unleashing them on humanity. Well, Fukufics is back up, and the previous link I posted still works. The thread has been updated as well.
As for new content, how about http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5419530/1/C ... Eva_Nanoha]a crossover that should/will not work? (Eva/Nanoha oneshot) Some people may take this as a challenge.
Today in "Morgan has weird dreams theater":
Dexter Morgan as a Karin-style half-vampire. -An entirely different Morgan.
Li'l Gaara is the most hated, lonely person in all Hidden Sand, so when a shinegami appears to tell him he only has one year left to live, he doesn't
really mind, espescially when the spirit's power allows him to finally gain recognition and freinds as the Elemental Countries' latest singing sensation, Full Moon! Will his musical career take off? Will he avert his fated death? Will the evil Shuukaku drive him to despair and an early death!? Find out, in Sabaku no Full Moon wo Sagashite! -- "Anko, what you do in your free time is your own choice. Use it wisely. The fated death in question could be Yashamaru's attempt, but that seems a better match for the heartwrencher midseries twist from FMWS

The videotape whirred to an end at last.
Rock was curled up behind the sofa, sobbing. Revy rolled her eyes and asked, of no one in particular, "Don't you think I already know that?" Chapter Black Lagoon --Sam "This is graveness."
So basically your suggesting that 'The Bucket of Truth' has a scrying portal that shows what is on Sensui's TIVO?
Exactly.

The Short Victorious Vor
Gets bonus points because above all else, this is a story about the culture shock between the two crossed series. Quote: "You want to do a second placental transfer...of Honor's twins... to you." Miles tried to grasp the mindset of somebody irresponsible enough toThat Miles. That Honor. And the latter's mother being even more terrifying than the former's mother. Edit: Just reached the end. I haven't read a more chilling finishing line than this one in quite a while. Full credit to the writer for not pulling a single punch. D for Drakensis You're only young once, but immaturity is forever.
Yeah, I gotta giggle.
Quote:He needed to get Bel out. Actually, he needed to get the whole damn colony out before the Cetagandans realized they were a Betan military-applications research base and not a free love pilot commune. It was admittedly hard to tell the difference, but Elern was sharp. He’d pick up on it soon enough.-- Sucrose Octanitrate. Proof positive that with sufficient motivation, you can make anything explode.
no spoilers for Short Victorious Vor, but oh me, oh my..
Also, to stay on topic - The Protector's Vor, in which Miles Naismith is stranded on a Changed Earth when the technology supporting his covert reconnaissance mission fails.. along with everything else on the planet more advanced than a crossbow. Can Miles survive in this new Portland Protective Association? "No can brain today. Want cheezeburger." From NGE: Nobody Dies, by Gregg Landsman http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5579457/1/NGE_Nobody_Dies
Oh boy. Chilling ending, I agree.
Honorverse sort of got shafted though. |
