I love how they aren't even trying to pretend that Pinkie is bound by physics at all. Just look at her coming out of that hat. 
I have a feeling that this ep is going to be a great birthday present, though yesterday's might have been more appropriate.
Also, why does that transformer have shark teeth? I'm fairly sure they don't eat meat, and I'd imagine that they aren't intimidating to other metal beings, so why? Just to look intimidating to humans?

And the sharktoothed transformer is Megatron. Yeah, but Pinkie could concivably have fit in that bucket normally, even if her getting there doesn't make sense. In this vid though, Rarity's hat is apparently a TARDIS. And I'm ok with that.

Got a bit of a weird rec for people tonight. http://www.equestriadaily.com/2011/12/s ... spice.html, by Cudpug. (EQDaily, DeviantArt) "A ten-part story revolving around Rarity and her rapidly declining lifestyle after becoming consumed by the fashion industry. The main theme of the narrative is helping those in need." It's based on the story of the album http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hospice_(T ... ers_album) by The Antlers and... well it's not grimdark, but it's a very psychologically dark and brooding story of self-destruction. I quite like it, and as a bonus it updates with decent frequency.
My own addition to this: although the album Hospice would make a good soundtrack to reading through the story, I personally recommend the haunting atmosphere of Bass Communion's http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ugAMx5XY_Q. It's not pony-related, but it fits very well.
