damn, that is a mighty fine closing chapter on some top grade story.
And there is enough left unresolved (that doesn't sound quite right... there are things left unsaid, but only because it doesn't directly impact on the main characters) that the story blackjack & crew are going through doesn't become a foregone conclusion.

I remember reading some of the comments saying that they were in contact about various backstories (for overlapping characters like Rampage). But I don't know of anything specifically said by either author that they were explicitly trading notes.

Nightmares Don't Last Forever is one of my favorite Nightmare Moons - there's a lot of Mojo Jojo and Princess Molestia in there, but the core is someone who is determined to make Equestria prosper.

In other Pony news, to keep this at least vaugely on-thread, Ponyarchive, a non-US host for 1080p (color-corrected, even) streams and DLs of FIM episodes with an average turnaround time of 2-4 hours from air, has gone dark, and done so badly. Hasbro threatened legal action, and things have gone pear-shaped since then. I would be 100% in favor of hasbro.. if their was a legitimate source available in good time outside the US.

Their initially response to the C&D was to state, in a rather impolite manner, that they were not based in the US, so US law didn't affect them, and that they intended to continue doing what they had been doing. When the site was forced down, they put up another site with the same name but a different extension, and put on that site a message to Hasbro that began "F#@& you, Hasbro" (Censorship mine).
... Not the best way to respond to a C&D request, if you ask me.
