Crossovers That Should Not Be XV: The (Bad) Ideas Just Keep On Coming

Snake Plissken on a Plane...

No, Snake flew in with a glider....
Which brings to mind two horrific ones:
"I'm the Uncle Duke of New York! Bad craziness!" and (drawling) "I'm the Duke of New York, pilgrim."

I couldn't do the Metal Gear cross myself because of too much contamination from one of my own projects. (For which, with Naked, Solid, Solidus and Liquid on that plane, it would blow up, and the first two would respawn if killed, and the last two would survive outright.)

I think, IIRC, Last Days of Foxhound Liquid might crash the plane and survive.

Is Kiritsugu considered a Gary Stu these days?

I saw that clip when someone had put it up on mother's day. I figure that if his adoptive mother's plane was otherwise filled with Orochimaru, it would likely end up AU. From what I remember, Kiritsugu was using a MANPAD, and there was an aisle with standing room, which I figure translates to at least forty people. Maybe even many hundreds, I dunno what the biggest airliner of today or then holds. Anyway, for forty, but especially for a hundred or more, I have doubts as to the ability of the explosion, the burning jet fuel, and the surface impact to reliably permanently kill all of the Orochimaru.

Solid Snake did kinda spend some time as a Hermit, so one can cast him as Orochimaru in Naruto.
Edit: I don't get the Weir reference.  If we are doing Athena-Weir, from what I know of Saint Seiya Athena, she might be entirely willing to blind herself to bring advantage to her side.  I think temporary blindness might be part of the standard training for developing one or more of the 6th-8th senses.  (I forget if Saint Seiya has an eighth sense or not.)
That brings something to mind.  Think about the author's comments in Maybe I'm A Lion.  If Lio is kinda developing as a 'supernatural phenomena that kills people' into a kind of a buddha nature, then maybe he qualifies as a Virgo.  (Virgo from canon are apparently all Buddhas.)  Virgo Lio, especially Blacklight Lio.  Or maybe Pegasus or Phoenix Mercer.  (Whipfist might not count as a violation of Athena's 'No weapons except for your body' rule.)

A Dr. William Weir was the designer of the Event Horizon, from the movie of the same name.  The line I used was an almost direct quote.
Even reincarnated mythological fighters would have problems with that.

I have vague recollections of hearing about incidents involving Athena from the original Saint Seiya, one of which may have included blinding herself. Athena was pretty hard core. IIRC, one version of Virgo is blind, and isn't much hampered by it, and another had to seal his vision to control his powers.

Looking at the movie on wiki, leaving aside the Saint Seiya cross, it should be possible to cross it with Stargate Atlantis without too many problems.

Campione/Assassin's Creed

You can make this cross even more Nasu/MegaTen if you take the whole theory about Baphomet being a corrupted derivation of Mohammad, and invert it. The Templars and the Assassin's are working for the same entity, Baphomet, who disguised itself as Mohammad.

Well, then, how about...

Sparkly communist vampires invade the United States and steal the hearts of teenage girls everywhere, prompting the formation of high-school-age militias to defeat them in... Twilight: Red Dawn.

Nah - too plausible.

Which best describes a Landmate? "Clunky", "Vacuous", "Frivolous", or "Sensual"?

I think I would play that game.

If you can't make Apples to Apples NSFW, you're playing it wrong.

Not strictly a crossover, but...

"National Lampoon's Alien Invasion."  (I have NO idea where this came from, it just... bobbed up from my subconscious)
The Rifftrax version of Spielberg's "War of the Worlds" remake crossed with "Spaced Invaders."

After a bit of thought, this was followed by:
"National Lampoon's Anime Convention."

"Fanboys" meets "National Lampoon's Family Vacation."

Given the overabundance of zombie films, I'm personally expecting "National Lampoon's Zombie Apocalypse." Though it'll probably be the guys who did "Scary Movie."

Just read through that, and I'm pretty much on the same page as McGonagall.  If I understood correctly, Harry was raised by a magical wrestler?

Definitely a wrestler, though I'm unsure if he's magical in that setting.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dwayne_Johnson aka The Rock is who raised Harry in this case.

I had a case of the giggles for a few hours later.

Something that came up during an In Nomine game last night.
Mr. Burns sitting at Gendo Ikari's desk, hands steepled in front of his face, so all you see are his evil eyes, as red alert lights flash.
"Smithers... Kill that angel, and send God a corsage..."
We laughed ourselves silly for the next ten minutes.
