Who said that Trigon had to be sleeper agent? He knows how to act like a reasonable father, and he doesn't want a war started on his doorstep. He might even know how to change a diaper.
There is also the fact, that if he does nothing to taint the child, he will drive three generations of Aes crazy as they go try to figure out what he did to the child.

Honestly, I don't think he's destabilized things quite that badly. Seriously, this isn't even as bad as when Kei disappeared - at least in this case we know who has Anabell and where she most likely is.
What I'm afraid of is that Akio will do to Anabell what Wise Man in Sailor Moon R did to Chibiusa in transforming her into Dark Lady.
And that would be some seriously fucking scary shit.

Anabell isn't old enough to really have a personality to twist at this point, I don't think.

I mean yeah, the dude plots like a motherfucker but when you look at his motivations he's a single-minded soul. Akio's end goal has pretty much remained the same since the first time we saw him: he wants to control a Pillar of his blood. He tried it with Anthy, he tried it with Raven and now he's going to try it with Annabelle because no matter how big his armies or the depth of his plans he still wants only that one thing and he'll burn down the world to get it. Hurting the Trinity, doing Musphelheim's work on Midgard, all that is gravy compared to getting the kid.
And this is ultimately the seed of his destruction. If he'd just picked one of his students as Rose Bride he could spend a nice, long life indirectly tormenting the Trinity but noooo...

Of course. Instead, she's young enough for him to shape and mold however he desires.

Depends on how long he has her. I'm suspecting it won't be long enough to create a tykebomb.

An enfant terrible, if you will.

The party never stops for the 1st JSAF, any more than it does on Selina Kyle's answering machine:

1) Gryphon's observation on the forum, about being tempted to treat the "poi" verbal tic of Yudachi from KanColle as the equivalent of "smurf", is not as far off-base as he thinks, given that "schtroumpf" (the Smurfs' original name) is basically Flemish for "wossname".

And OWaW has an interesting new side story up and running, with a slightly different approach to normal.
Quote:We don't have anything for either of the regular Serial Experiments this week, so instead, here is a serial experiment experiment. This is the first part of an Our Witches at War special episode. However, it won't be serialized as individual episodes like OWaW or The Federation Lives Forever! Instead, the file will be updated with new segments as they're completed; when it's all finished, it'll be a single story, like Lensmen: The Brave and the Bold Presents "New Tricks". (An audio version will be released upon completion.)So if you'd rather wait until it's all finished, you have that option! If all goes according - or even mostly according - to plan, it should run to four or five updates. If you'd prefer to jump in now, here it is:Our Witches at War Presents "Our Fighting Fleet"!

Damn, but I am -way- behind on all this... going to need a week or three to catch up, at the rate they keep putting out new material.

I know that Gryphon has gone on record saying, more or less, that there was a fuckton of material that he'd been sitting on. And it's like recent anime releases like Legend of Korra, Strike Witches, Arpeggio of Blue Steal, and K-ON! (I know they're actually kinda old, but when held up in comparison to most other UF source materials? Yeah.) have been all that Gryphon needed to fill in the gaps and get this stuff out the door at long last.

RE: the newest eyrie is out early this year....

(This post was last modified: 01-27-2023, 11:08 PM by Mamorien.
Edit Reason: Finally, after literal years, adding the strikethrough that was in my original vision.
)
Because I've been reading the e-book of Nobilis: A Field Guide to the Powers on my Nook lately, I read the teaser for the upcoming thing and had the thought "Corwin Ravenhair, Power of Mecha". (It turns out that summoning an instance of your Estate is a Difficulty 4 miracle.) And thus does the game of sovereign Powers join the Palladium RPG, GURPS, the Cortex system, and the Sardonyx Storypath system on the list of RPG rulesets I've found suitable for some aspect of Eyrie.

has the production schedule for OWAW gone out the window due to the TFLF and other mainline/Korra stories popping out?

I believe that Gryphon advised the previous regular schedule was no longer in effect.

Well, he's been talking about doing it for about six weeks now, so yes.
