Yeah, I caught it earlier. Y'know it almost ties in with the sigquote I used in my previous post.
Hmm a Sunrise Motorworks Griffon 6155 Interceptor, the car from Spy Hunter invoking two shout outs to that game.
Quote:Instead, the Interceptor's passenger door popped open and the car went into a tire-shrieking sideways skid, matched her course, and seemed to swallow her up before turning the rest of the way around and coming to a stop with a jerk that slammed the door shut behind her.
Someone's seen Transporter 3 or its trailer.
Quote:In the Interceptor, Dacia Sandero tried to regain her breath and figure out exactly what had just happened.
That car name sure works for a person and it's the current Top Gear injoke.
I'm more surprised that the Stig's shopping at Tesco, but then over the years he's been somewhat tamed. Just don't let him near any sheep.

Or it could have been the movie version of Wanted that inspired that bit :o

I'd assumed he'd stole it from Wanted myself.

I haven't had time to read it before work.

I rather LIKE having new Exile stories with the modern attitudes and attention to detail.

Soandso is a fine and respected Salusian family.

What I am tired of is the trend of unfinished multi-part stories and the super long wait in between parts.

More to the point, Captain Soandso made his first appearance in Ninja High School #1 and therefore long predates
UF's hijacking of the Salusians.

While I'd like more Symphony and Fulcrum of Fate, and especially Rogue Squadron, I've been waiting for the story that fixed Kei killing half of Gryphs
crew and no one ever having a problem for years. I'll take this... and hope the rest is nearly done

"Spock?"
"Yes, Benjamin."
"Who -did- put the bomp in the bomp ba bomp ba bomp?"
The question made next to no sense to Saavik - she had no idea
what any of the nouns were - but she trusted Spock's answer would
illuminate the matter for her.
In this, she was to be let down, for, after a moment's grave
consideration, Spock replied (still without turning from his work), "I
do not know, but it is logical to surmise that the same individual put
the ram in the rama lama ding dong."
Another pause.
The human smiled and bent to his work again. "I love hangin'
with you, man," he said fondly.
This... This absolutely SHATTERED me completely and utterly. I was literally hanging off the side of my recliner whooping for breath I was laughing so
damn hard. ^_^
