(They're also catching up on Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu - episodes 5 and 6 are up today, along with the release notes for the episodes.)

Oh, I didn't notice this in the off-brand scans...
The Megalomesembrian flagship is named "Svanhvit"
(It's a pity Gryph doesn't follow this, really...)

On the other hand, "Auntie Stuffed Toy" just isn't as cool as "Plushie-obachan."

		THOUSAND MASTER chapter 2

		11-05-2008, 07:53 AM

Or, as some prefer to think of it, Negima! hour
231.
A ruling princess named Anarchia... how unfortunate ^.^

Fate really likes framing his enemies. There ought to be some way to turn that around.

...Fate was older in the past? And even the audience notices, so it's not just me.

And Negi has finally put the last piece into the jigsaw puzzle...

		No, I'm
not going to drop that joke. Why do you ask?

...Of course, we could just as well go classical and call this "The Seven Against Mars."
(Olympus Mons, yet. If Mundus Magicus isn't Mars, Akamatsu has got some splainin' to do.)

I would totally buy fourteen volumes of this. Or the movie trilogy on DVD.

Cue up Duel of the Fates!

Huh. I remember seeing the bit with Asuna at the end speculated about somewhere, but I can't remember where. Interesting to see that it was right on themoney, though...

That is interesting, because if there were any hints dropped at all I missed the lot. I'll have to go back and check to see when it might have happened.
(ETA: We see her cornered by two of Fate's girls, and then she shows up as if nothing had happened.)

In other news... I think I finally understand.

Nagi and Fate "defeated each other" ten years ago. Fate looked older twenty years ago than he does now. In fact, he and Negi appear to be the same
age. These are the facts, and here's my fully fledged speculation:

In their final confrontation in Istanbul, Nagi for some reason caused them both to regress to infancy. He made prior arrangements to have himself raised as
his own son. But unexpectedly, Fate retained his memories and is now ready to succeed where his master/creator failed -- in stripping Mundus Magicus of its
magic and reducing it to the lifeless red planet that the mundanes believe it to be.

That's my wild guess and I'm sticking to it.

Okay, I found where I saw the speculation about Asuna -- the http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/W ... nseiNegima]Wild Mass Guessing page for Negima over on the Tropes wiki. It's about 4/5 of the way through the page.
