Probably also the same rod that Monkey Boss Summon Enma becomes and that the Third Hokage uses. But all of it derives from the original one in Journey to theWest.

Indeed it does, because that particular I-Jin happens to be a clone of Tripitaka, the priest that Monkey is stuck escorting all the way to India and back.
(Clone Trip also rides a fake flying cloud in imitation of Monkey.)

And we begin with a flashback, one
that reminds me of an early Xanth novel. As much as I no longer like Anthony, his answer to this particular question has always struck me as very wise indeed.

And Evangeline's answer is remarkably similar.

Careful, Natsumi. Reaction shots like that are dangerous when you're on a flying city.

"My organization is the enemy of absolutely everyone else in the world, including both the Senate I'm a member of, and Fate's group. And we want

		Robkelk seems about right . . . .
For some reason, I don't think we're dealing with a good guy here. Can't think why I have that impression. :-p

Being able to read minds is not necessarily advantage when dealing with people who believe what they say is true.

So is he a fanatic?....willing to blow apart Magica Mundus in order to save it? It's also a trope that having deep held beliefs (and willing
to act on them) that's opposed to the others does not make you evil.

Should it ever come to pass that I encounter someone who says, "Very well, I will be brief," and then spends the next five minutes talking withouttelling me anything of substantive value, I will cheerfully pledge him or her my absolute and unconditional support, get the hell out of there and spend the
rest of my life dodging his or her calls, if need be.
