So now we can confirm that Negi is a magical prince...of Mars no less. Can we also call him a prince of Wales?

Depending on whether they're public transport or not, he may be a prince of those flying whales...
I guess I should add that I'm suddenly having mental images of a Negima fusion with John Carter of Mars, with Negi in a sword harness and bouncing around like crazy...

Del Rey Volume 24 Out
11-09-2009, 03:04 AM
Again, the Nibleys provide us with a much better translation than that unfortunate two-volume lapse. Del Rey ought to retranslate those and offer to exchange
them for our old copies.
Of note: the fanscans appear to have botched something important. Asuna is not unique, the Vespertatia royal family has been producing occasional
magic-cancellers for generations.
Of sillier note: Paio Zi hijacked the Lexicon Negimarium to give us a lengthy digression on the mystic and archaeological significance of her favorite subject
-- boobies. ^.^
Speaking of which, Bob, that Barsoom fusion? It's not Negi I'm having images of bouncing around like crazy in traditional Martian costume.

Y'know, I was going to post something similiar to this... then I realized that, if cross-world travel is possible, half the girls would rip my lungs out for suggesting it.

Aquastar has released their
version of Another World episode 1.
Frankly, I'm not thrilled with the pacing of the OADs. It's always either too fast or too slow. But a
halfway decent translation should mitigate the worst of it...

Hour 270
No, it's not up as I post it; it is up at MangaFox, which I avoid whenever possible, so it should be up at OneManga shortly.

Nodoka doesn't know when to stop, does she? Mental peeping tom.
...Godel, you bastard. Punch him again, Negi!
Daughter of the Creator... implying that the Mage of the Beginning is Negi's and Asuna's great-to-the-god-only-knows-what-number grandfather?
Eva-chan didn't know? Oo, she's pissed.
...and oh yeah, fight in progress.
And Fate is... crying? o.o;

Y'know, I'd been waiting to see how they were going to prevent Jack from derailing the plot without being a total ass (more than he is
already)....seems Fate's about to deliver on that.

Fate isn't crying.
I seem to recall Fate not having red blood.

Only from one eye, so yeah, I'm gonna agree that that's some pale blood there.
HE HAS SAILOR PLUTO'S GARNET ROD. NOW IS THE TIME TO PANIC.
MILLION SWORDS OF HATE! Field of Blades versus Field of Blades!
You cannot defeat Fate, for he wields the unstoppable power of JAMES P. HOGAN! ^.^
This is kind of alarming... if what I think might be happening is happening, then, well, no one from Mundus Magicus can fight Fate at all.

Oh, dear.
Where could they possibly find somebody from some other world who's powerful enough to stand up to Fate?
(The voice from the peanut gallery who said "call Doug Sangnoir" can shut up now... )

My first thought was more along the lines of "He has a KEYBLADE?! $#@&.".

*whistles*
Fate definitely pulled out the trump card here. Amusingly, this makes Negi and his class even more important than they were before as they're. Ot native
and thus immune to Fate's ability. Even Nodoka, amusingly.

My first thought was..dammed he pulled one of Gilgamesh's Noble phantasms (Ea) and then pulled a reality marble.

And again with the James P.
Hogan. Is Akamatsu a fan, or is this the translators' doing?
You never know how much you need arms until they're gone... o.o;
Things are getting POLITICAL here. That's not good.
And Negi... is going to sign... but...
IT'S COLUMBO TIME. Jusht one lasht thing...
And yeah, it's as bad as we thought.
One in eighteen people? Screw that.
...Holy crap. You think you have the cheat codes to the magic world, Fate? Rakan knows the cheats for REALITY. God mode will NOT save you.

"Negi Springfield wins. Haremality."
We're gonna have to wait for the official translation to know for sure on that. If it's still "Code of the Lifemaker" there ...
God, I'm shipping Chisame/Negi so hard right now ... or possibly Chisame/Negi/Chachamaru OTT ...

It's always interested me how much play Hogan gets in Japan. Inherit the Stars showed up in Genesis Climber Mospeada, The Two Faces of Tomorrow was made into a manga... now this.
(CotL or ItS would make nifty manga...)

Can any of you read the small text balloon halfway down page seven, on the left side? ( Link) It's too small for me to read normally, and when I try to zoom in, it gets too blurry.

sadly, it's nothing but smudges in that image.
someone would have to get a higher quality scan to pull anything legible out of there.
