*ears twitch and eyes bleed scanning Animesuki for Kanokon*

And while looking for Kanokon, another Kitsune Work just got released as a fansub: Waga ya no O-Inari-sama.
This is of interest to Ranma fans for the similar genderbending of a main character, and of interest to me because of the Kitsune thing. .
So.. lessee, three recent Kitsune-themed works:
Kanokon
Waga- ya...
Kon-Kon Kokon
Each of varying degrees of "cute." IIRC, Waga ya.... is very action-y. Kanokon is, as stated, fanservice-y. And Kon-Kon Kokon is REALLY cute, with
character designs by Koge Donbo.

Fox: I haven't seen any of those three on AnimeSuki, but BakaUpdates has at least the first two listed. Enjoy! ^_^

Nabari no Ou, reads like someone decided to animate a naruto/recca inspired high scool fic...
With a somewhat generous helping of awesome. Including one character that is at least inspired by naruto's oiroke form...

I've picked five new shows to follow for a while: http://www.animesuki.com/series.php/1217.html]Crystal Blaze, http://moetaku.com/category/kanokon/]Kanokon, http://www.animesuki.com/series.php/1228.html]Library War, http://www.animesuki.com/series.php/1147.html]Macross Frontier, and http://www.animesuki.com/series.php/1200.html]Wagaya no Oinari-sama.
Judging solely by first episodes (which is never safe, I know)... Crystal Blaze looks like a cross between City Hunter and Armitage III, Kanokon and Wagaya no Oinari-sama are two very different takes on kitsune stories (Kanokon is the NSFW one), and Macross Frontier is... well, it's Macross. Library War is the one I have the most hope for, because it at least pretends to examine the conflict between "protecting morality" and "freedom of expression". I'm hoping that this part of the backstory is explored more than just in passing...

Adult Swim just showed the first ep of Code Geass, and I have to say I'm not impressed. WAY over the top. This is a massive parody of something, isn't
it?

Nobody is particularly happy with what the CG dub has turned out like, I don't think. They got so caught up in how deliberately flamboyant Zero is that
they've made EVERYONE over the top.
